Some clients dream of having a holiday home in the heart of Barcelona´s old quarter. We saw potential in this apartment, located in a quiet, gated street. The apartment offered the opportunity to strip away a renovation done in the 1980s to create a hostel and introduce modern design features and floor plan. The building´s original beams were left exposed throughout the main living areas in the two bedroom, two bathroom apartment.
